Lada Smyk, DDS MPH

MEET THE DOCTOR

Dr. Lada Smyk is a native Chicagoan. For over a decade she attended the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 1996, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with College Honors and Departmental Distinction and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. In 1998, she completed her Master in Public Health, also with College Honors and was inducted into Delta Omega, the Public Health Honor Society. In 2003, she graduated with College Honors from the university’s College of Dentistry with a DDS degree. Since then she has been practicing family and general dentistry in the Chicago area. She keeps up-to-date with new innovations in dentistry by attending numerous continuing education courses.

Dr. Smyk’s practice philosophy centers around optimal dental health and compassionate care. She treats adults as well as children as people, not just teeth. She believes that patients need to take an active role in their treatment decisions and is ready and willing to answer any and all questions you may have.

Dr Smyk is of Ukrainian heritage and speaks Ukrainian fluently. She also speaks some Spanish.  When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Smyk enjoys the outdoors, reading, spending time with family and friends and is a big Chicago sports fan.
